"Democracy has failed us, a new system of global governance, based on environmental imperatives, must be implemented quickly..."
-The Club of Rome
The Club Of Rome and The Committee of 300:
Founded in 1968, The Club of Rome was a meeting of of professionals from various fields including industry, diplomacy, academia and civil society. According to the official web site theit aims are:
1) to identify the most crucial problems which will determine the future of humanity through integrated and forward-looking analysis
2) to evaluate alternative scenarios for the future and to assess risks, choices and opportunities
3) to develop and propose practical solutions to the challenges identified
4) to communicate the new insights and knowledge derived from this analysis to decision-makers in the public and private sectors and also to the general public and to stimulate public debate and effective action to improve the prospects for the future.
Many believe however that their power is not being used for the good of the human race. In the last days of his Presidency Woodrow Wilson made a stark admission by saying:
"Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacturing, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere, so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.”
Since its conception the real aims has to been to solve the problems faced when trying to install a global government and to bring about the necesary destabliisation of the worlds currencies and governments.
